Ezra Greenberg is a practice expert and senior fellow with the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) in McKinsey's Washington, DC, office.
MGI is McKinsey's economic research arm. Its mission is to help business and government leaders develop a deeper understanding of the evolution of the global economy and provide a fact base that contributes to decision making on critical management and policy issues.
As an expert in macroeconomics, economic forecasting, and risk analysis, Ezra has made substantive contributions and helped provide leadership for McKinsey Global Institute research on consumer demand in China and India, the economic impact of aging U.S. baby boomers, global capital markets, and productivity.
Before joining MGI, Ezra was manager and cofounder of McKinsey's North American Knowledge Center, the firm's first large–scale research center in North America.
Prior to joining McKinsey in 2000, Ezra was a principal economist at Global Insight, an economic forecasting and consulting firm, where he was a core member of the U.S. macroeconomic forecasting group, led the economic modeling team, and consulted for a wide range of private sector and government clients.
Ezra holds an M.A. in economics from the University of Maryland–College Park. He also holds a B.A. in economics from McGill University.
